Replacing the router your provider supplied is one of the cheapest upgrades to a home network, and one of the most noticeable if the flat has thick walls.
The deals below were collected today. Wi-Fi 7 is only worth its premium if your devices support it; otherwise a good Wi-Fi 6 router costs far less and performs identically for you.
For homes over about a hundred square metres, or across two floors, a mesh system beats a single powerful router. Coverage is a geometry problem, not a power problem. Before buying anything, check whether the router supplied by your provider can be switched to modem-only mode: two devices both trying to manage the network is the most common cause of a slow mesh.
